Today the library finally upgraded its print server to the version that the rest of the university uses for printing from public computers! With this upgrade, patrons who wish to print a document from a computer must enter a username and password of their choice. They do not need to be a GMU ID and password but they will have to be easily remembered when you go to pick up your printouts. The same process of printing from our computers applies to the new server. You still need to have money on your Mason photo ID card or a purchased copy card, which you can swipe at the print station. Once you select your print job, you will be prompted to enter the password you chose when first sending the document to the printer.
As for adding funds or purchasing a copy card, our Mason Money machine is still out of service until the new machine arrives. The best way to add money to your ID or buy a copy card is to visit the Law Library next door. The machine is located near the copy center in the library, to the right. You can also add funds to your Mason ID here.
